In what ways does your media product use, develop or challenge forms and conventions of real media products?

My magazine on a whole develops and conforms to the common conventions of real media products. This is because I used many existing products for inspiration especially in the same genre as my own magazine which is a hybrid of alternative and chart music, and have tried to incorporate as much of the conventions I found in these into my own work in order to make it as realistic and professional as possible. This will also appeal to my target audience as they will recognise that it is a magazine, and which genre I have intended for it to be. There are some elements of my magazine which challenge real media products in order for my magazine to be more unique and individual, rather than being exactly the same as existing magazines which means there will be a gap in the market for my product.  I have created a presentation for each of my individual products using the website 'Prezi' to show the ways in which I have challenged or utilised the conventions of existing products.
